We helped rebuild PlaceMakers Mangawhai after a fire

When PlaceMakers Mangawhai caught fire a few years ago, the building was damaged but, thanks to local firefighters, still intact. CHR Builders was retained as the main labour contractor. We worked alongside other trade professionals, with Trade Professionals NZ handling the paperwork side of the rebuild.

Rebuilding after a fire is a huge job, with the property sustaining damage from fire, smoke and water. Upstairs, the offices and work counters were severely damaged and structural damage meant only a couple of the exterior walls could remain. While downstairs was only water damaged, we also rebuilt this area to bring it up to code.
